Quality Control

At China Loong Pneumatic Tool Co., Ltd., quality control is integrated into each stage of manufacturing, from incoming materials and components to final packaging and shipment. Our inspection procedures are designed to support the consistent performance, durability, safety, and appearance of pneumatic tools, accessories, and spare parts. Inspection criteria are defined according to product specifications, customer requirements, and industry-aligned practices.

1. Incoming Material and Component Inspection

Incoming materials and purchased components are checked before they are released for production. The scope and method of inspection depend on the product type and the importance of the component. Particular attention is given to parts that may affect air sealing, torque transmission, impact performance, operational stability, and service life.

• Material verification: Materials are reviewed against drawings, purchase requirements, and applicable internal specifications.
• Dimensional inspection: Key dimensions and tolerances are checked using suitable measuring instruments.
• Visual inspection: Surfaces are examined for damage, corrosion, deformation, contamination, and other visible defects.
• Critical component checks: Gears, bearings, valves, seals, cylinders, rotors, fasteners, and other functional parts are inspected as required by the product specification.
• Supplier feedback: Nonconforming incoming items are identified, controlled, and communicated to the relevant supplier for follow-up.

2. In-Process Quality Control

Quality checks are performed during machining, assembly, and other production stages to identify variation before it affects finished products. Operators follow defined work instructions, while inspection personnel monitor critical characteristics according to internal inspection standards.

• Machined dimensions, threads, mating surfaces, and assembly clearances are checked where applicable.
• Assembly orientation, tightening, lubrication, sealing elements, and moving parts are verified during production.
• Air leakage, abnormal noise, vibration, rotation, impact action, trigger response, and operating stability are evaluated at relevant stages.
• Process findings are recorded and reviewed so that nonconforming products can be separated and handled appropriately.

Control points are adapted to the functional requirements of different products. Pneumatic wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, grinders, sanders, drills, tapping tools, riveters, nailers, staplers, spray guns, shears, and special-purpose pneumatic tools are assessed using criteria appropriate to their design and intended application.

3. Finished Product Inspection

Finished products undergo inspection before they are approved for packing. Testing requirements vary by model and are subject to confirmed product specifications, but typically cover appearance, assembly condition, basic function, and relevant performance characteristics.

• Appearance and workmanship: The housing, finish, markings, controls, connections, and exposed components are checked for visible defects and correct assembly.
• Functional operation: Products are operated under suitable test conditions to assess starting, stopping, speed control, rotation, impact, cutting, grinding, sanding, fastening, spraying, or other intended functions.
• Air-system checks: Air inlets, valves, seals, and connections are examined for proper operation and unacceptable leakage.
• Specification verification: Product configuration, dimensions, accessories, and key performance items are checked according to the applicable inspection plan.
• Safety-related review: Guards, triggers, levers, retainers, and other relevant features are checked where required by the product design.

4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Check

Packaging is reviewed to help protect pneumatic tools and components during handling, storage, and international transportation. Before shipment, the order is checked against the confirmed commercial and packing requirements.

• Product models, quantities, accessories, spare parts, and tool kit contents are verified.
• Labels, item markings, manuals, cartons, and other customer-specific materials are reviewed against approved information.
• Protective packing is checked for suitability, including measures intended to reduce movement, impact, moisture exposure, and surface damage during transit.
• Outer carton condition, packing arrangement, shipping marks, and documentation details are checked before goods are released for dispatch.

5. Nonconformity Management and Continuous Improvement

When a quality issue is identified, the affected material or product is isolated and evaluated to prevent unintended use or shipment. Depending on the findings, appropriate action may include reinspection, rework, replacement, process adjustment, or supplier follow-up. Records from inspections, production observations, and customer feedback are reviewed to support root-cause analysis and corrective action.

For custom products and OEM orders, quality requirements can be clarified during order review so that drawings, samples, performance expectations, labeling, and packaging specifications are understood before production begins.
